many people dont know this i guess but the relation, friendship between japan and bangladesh existed even before bangladesh was established.
after ww2 during "tokyo trial" among the 3 judges there was a judge named radhabinod pal. who was born in current khulna, bangladesh. Also started his education and career here in bangladesh.
among all the judges he was the only one who didn't want to give the judgement of "all of the defendants being guilty". he didnt want to paint all of them with the same brush. there's probably a monument of him in Kyoto.
