I read his book; listened to his audiobook and he was clean, so it was a shock to a lot of ppl that he had overdosed. What's sad is that I'm pretty sure his personal assistant was his best friend.

Read that it's often used for an unsuspecting person (powder in a drink) who is sexually abused and won't remember the abuse.

The assistant bought the drugs for him no one has said she injected or forced it in him. Big difference!

I agree Mathew went looking for it and he found it. The folks that sold him the stuff need to be shutdown and held accountable to some degree but not 20+ years in jail. Mathew needed to check himself in.

I read his book several months ago and after I finished I felt he would not stay clean. His addiction was really bad. He had so much help so many times, but failed time and time again to stay story.

I'm not a religious person, but I've read at least 3 or 4 articles about this. And it's that 'addiction to money' that will make you kill your own blood if it comes down to that. And in this case, that's what happened. I mean, it wasn't family who did him in, but definitely trusted colleagues and physicians who took advantage of him.
