Windows 11: Enable old context menu (Windows 10 right-click style)

On a Windows 11 PC, you need to click the Show more options to see the classic context menu.

However, if you every time use Show more options and use the classic context menu, you can permanently remove Windows 11 modern style context menu. It is quite simple.

You need to run a single command in the elevated command prompt to enable the classic context menu.

Similarly, if you want to restore the modern context menu, you need to run a single command.

Here is how to do it.

Just, click on the Start button and type CMD.

In the search results, right-click on the Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.

Then, copy and paste the following command and press Enter on the keyboard:-

Now, either restart File Explorer or your computer to apply the changes.

Here I am restarting File Explorer to apply the changes.

To restore the Windows 11-style context menu, just run the following command in the elevated command prompt:-
