This is the Manchhar Lake. The largest freshwater lake in Pakistan.

Why didn't this news channel report this?
To avoid flooding 300k people in the nearby city of Sehwan, the government of sindh has recently diverted the water to 5 localities near the lake with a population of 150k.

Unfortunately, the government had to do this otherwise twice the people would be flooded.
