I Made a Beautiful Scrapbusting Tablecloth From My Fabric Scraps!

This tablecloth was a quick make, considering its size! Using my scrap 6" squares and lining from an old curtain I ended up with a colourful new cloth! The link is below for how I put the blocks together. It was part of last years' Advent Diary!

I love patchwork tablecloths and have made quite a few. I still use batting and machine quilt and bind.

Bed sheets make great backings for large projects without having any seams.

How much fun! I love the colors! Reminds me of two things: my grandma piecing scraps and the biblical history of Joseph’s coat of many colors(and how God goes before in the ordinary and extraordinary to order our days.) Are we not a tapestry of tangles and bits and pieces.😊
I sang in Paris with a US touring choir in 1970. It was part of a US choral good will tour to France, England, and the then USSR. I was 17 and remember watching the sun travel the mosaics of those beautiful windows from inside Notre Dame.
