The reason they use so many concept variants is to keep from getting sued by someone claiming that they were misled to believe the car was actually going to be built as shown. This is backed up by the claim that they make toward the end about the concept design. No future mustang will look like the 69-70 models. They will look like rebadged 650 s... Good luck cramming a 7 liter into a 650 engine compartment.

When I got out of the Army in January 1973. My brother and i were out cruising and came across a Mint 69 Boss 429. 10 grand on the odometer. The guy was selling it for his son who was station in Alaska.
After looking it over and a quick test drive. I told him i was going to go into town and grab the money and be right back. A half hour later i eas back and the car was sold😡
