Tula State Weapons Museum is also a sight worth seeing there for those not interested just in samovars and gingerbread. Supposedly one of the best military museums in the country. A lot of SKS owners in North America have Tula stamped on their weapon. I look forward to your tour of Vladimir, one of the cities of the Golden Ring. Tula is known not for two but three primary things: ginger bread (пряники), samovars (самовары), and ... weapons manufacturing. There is located the oldest Imperial Tula Arms Plant (Тульский Оружейный Завод) founded by Peter the Great in 1712. It's kind of a shame to visit Tula and not to visit that place and its museum. So, please don't miss it next time you visit the city :)
