Nissan 240sx s14 rod knock valve piston noise ?

oil level is good. Just changed fuel pump to get it running. Car has been sitting for a month because of fuel pump. Now its knocking really loud. could it be rod knock or a valve.

This happen to my car until the rod broke a big hole through the engine. Your engine is good as DEAD.

this is not the sound of a rod knock. a RK has deeper knocking sound. this is more like piston slap

Sounds like mine. Spray rods get clocked with gooey oil and starve the cams of oil. That noise is your engine eating itself.
