One thing I hate about Kishimoto’s characterization of Sakura is that he knew her love for Sasuke was completely unreasonable and expressed that knowledge via Sasuke saying that she had no reason to love her, but still continued to write her so irrationally.

He did that to protect her, y’all know that right? In the OG, when Naruto and Sasuke wanted to fight each other, Sakura intervened which almost ended in a disaster had it not been for Kakashi. After they won in the 4th war, Sasuke still felt like he had to fight with Naruto and it was kind of obvious Sakura would do the same thing she did back in OG - try to stop them, even if it’d have ended with her dying. Sasuke put her in a genjutsu to protect her and so that they could give their all into their final fight without worrying about Sakura’s presence. He even mentioned the reasoning behind this action to Naruto right after, when he asked about it. I am not sure how this information never crosses the “minds” of those who hate Sakura or the SasuSaku ship. Sasuke’s character might be a bit too complicated for some; but I suggest looking more into it before making dumb statements (such as ‘he earned my respect when he did that!!!’).
