Waited an hour to post ... I'm an old guy, been here all my life (USA) worked jobs where I have moved millions of dollars all the way down to literally shoveled crap .. the people I have worked with from all walks of life were great, but, the ones who were from outside the USA gave me a set of eyes to use to see how each part of the world was different and just how wonderfully strange this place I (and many others) call home. An old Polish science teacher I worked with doing landscaping told me that we here have "grown calluses on our eyes" because we only see and know the good we have and that we would "not see Dupa Yash" taking over. Thank you both for a bit of insight from your point of view.

This really puts things in perspective, guys. Thank you. We often forget disagreeing can be a privilege. It seems so close to having that taken away, many of us are very afraid of losing our privileges, and some have been removed. Because of fear, because of intolerance, and because of ignorance. We don't want our country running on hate. There's only one race, really, and that's the human race. Many people prefer to ignore that. But thanks for the info, and the reminder that we're lucky to be able to fight for what we believe in. 💙

I love you guys. So good to see your point of view. More people need to listen and understand what is happening around the world. I think the public education system at large does a disservice to young people in essentially teaching them that America is bad.
