Jody Morris joins Rio and Joel on this episode to look at the priorities for the new Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim.

After being labelled the Premier League’s ‘worst pressing team’ after drawing 1-1 with Chelsea, Jody breaks down what a coach needs to have in place to create a successful press and details the reasons why United haven’t been able to sustain that style of play for 3 seasons.

There’s a shoutout for Nottingham Forest right back Ola Aina and more flak for Joel after Arsenal give up more ground in the title race.

Plus, does Rodri winning the Ballon d’Or prove that football is ‘boring’?

Ruben has not even started and you want him to compromise his tactics

Man man man, imagine after this Arsenal result. Ste would be on his ass and not let him live all the "we are winning the league this season" comments. The Ste emotional rants are what's missing

Behave Rio,
Why do we always do this; hire a manager and expect them to change their style to suit “the United way”. Let’s face it, the style that we built our success on is dead, we need to find a direction and stick to it.

Really enjoyed Jody's input. Listening to someone with actual technical experience was great.

I’d be watching all of this if Ste was present.

JoeL talking over guests & thinking he’s knows football better than actual professionals is comical to say the least!

The ballon D’or by definition is “the best footballer in the world” not the best attacker or who scores the most goals.

Rio’s dropped Steve for sponsorship reasons obviously because Steve speaks his mind but just watch how Ste conducts an interview with a guest, lets the guest speak & listens to there opinion, a far more respectful person compared to JoeL

You are talking about United, why have Joel on and not Ste? (who is the United fan). Can you have Ste back on please and hopefully back with Joel too, but Ste must be speaking to you about United on Mondays

Finally someone calling out Rashford for his output instead of blaming the manager.

Remember that Sporting is one of the big Portuguese teams and has to play the majority of the matches against teams that solely defend. Just because it’s 3 at the back, it does NOT mean that his tactics are primarily defensive. In fact, it’s a modern version of the style of football that Ferguson played. It’s defensively solid, but extremely progressive offensively.

If Amorim can demolish Pep’s City with some Portuguese club but flopping hard with United squad, we know the manager isn’t the problem

Used to watch this program week in week out, but now without Ste and Joel's banter its just missing something which is a shame.

Rodri is a phenomenal player for club and country. Champions league and Euro player of the tournament. A player everyone appreciates, a team player and deserved winner.

Every player should be assessed. Stop hyping our players so much that they believe their own hype. Mainoo is good but he is not our saviour.

Rio there is absolutely no shot this is the video being man. You, a man that has been crying out for an identity and style of play, wants a man with that exact thing to come in here and change what he does. You can't even give the man a chance to try his own philosophy
