The problem isn't that Amorim was not tested out of Portugal, the problem is Manchester United. Man U needs to change. Portuguese league is extremely demanding on coaches and coaches do a lot, strategically, with not a lot of money. Give Manchester United money (or even the money of a middle table club) to a portuguese top club and it would be competing to win the Champions every year.
