ma'am i have noticed a patter in finding the no. of diagonals in the figures. The patter is :- 1.Triangle[three sided]-0 diagonals 2.Quadrilateral[four sided]- 2 diagonals [that is 0(no. of diagonals triangle has)+2] 3.Pentagon[5 sided]- 5 diagonal [that is 2(no. of diagonals quadrilateral has)+3] 4.Hexagon[6 sided]-9 diagonals [that is 5(no. of diagonals pentagon has)+4] 5.Heptagon[7 sided]-14 diagonals [that is 9(no. of diagonals Hexagon has)+5] 6. Octagon [8 sided]- 20 diagonals [that is 14(no. of diagonals .Heptagon has)+6] 7. Nonagon[9 sided]-27 diagonals [that is 20(no. of diagonals Octagon has)+7] 8. Decagon [10 sided]- 35 diagonals [that is 27(no. of diagonals Nonagon has)+8] . IS IT RIGHT??
