Whoopi 'Irritated' As 'View' Ladies Remorseful For Kate Speculation

Graeme O'Neil takes a look at "The View" ladies "feeling awful" for speculating about Princess Kate before learning of her cancer diagnosis, and Whoopi Goldberg's precaution served her well this time around.

Imagine bullying a woman who had surgery. Regardless of the diagnosis, it’s terrible. Then to refer to it as “the fun of where’s Kate” is beyond the pale.

Apart from Whoopi that group were rude and unkind. And they've targeted a thoroughly decent woman who tries to do her best. I cannot understand why Catherine, Princess of Wales arouses such resentment in them. So nasty.

This was shocking, these people tearing a family to bits . They are so evil, the only one I recognise is whoopi but that might be because I’m from the UK. People in the UK just wanted to leave Kate to heal and give her the privacy she asked for, anyone with any common sense would guess that she wouldn’t be away from her royal duties if she didn’t need to be. It’s the news media who have hounded her and her family, it’s sickening. Thank you Whoopi for having the bravery to stand up to a pack of evil, maybe the bravery comes from been a someone not a nobody trying to be somebody as these other people seem to be trying to be.

I am British and am appalled at how the Princess of Wales has been treated by the media and programmes like this. Thank heavens for Whoopi Goldberg. Catherine, the Palace, told everyone where she would be until Easter. No mystery. She had major surgery. The rest is none of our business except to wish her well and respect her privacy. So many people should be ashamed and apologising.

The only puicture that was released by Catherine was the mother's Day picture. Sonny, I was a prosecutor, Hostin makes it sound like the Palace did it. Whoopi is right. The Princess of Wales does not have to tell anyone her medical condition. I am sure Sonny would like it if people were trying to find out about her latest medical condition/cosmetic intervention.
