E220 cdi w211 loss power and bad shifting fixed

For last few days i was experiencing loss of power when i needed to overtake (no engine light or codes).mainly in second and third gear(autobox) also can hear the ssssssst sound. I found little crack in pipe that goin to intercooler . Done 15miles around city and after fixing the pipe can see rapid increase in power, better acceleration and alot better mpg. Hope this helps someone.

So you have changed the pipe that connects to the turbo?

have you got 5g-tronic automatic transmission? I've got problem with power loss, high fuel consuption and bad shifting. My intercooler is connected to turbo pipes with screws. Is that may cause bad shifting?
