The old black/whites are so much better than the modern movies. Cleo Moore was beautiful and died before her time. John Agar was handsome. Good acting.... Thanks for posting

Love this movie, I thought I had seen every kind of movie plot there was, but this one proved me wrong, Cleo Moore(with little makeup on) never looked better

Cannot believe I wasn’t aware of Cleo Moore when I have been such a movie fan.

Doea and Joe were the answer to each other's sorrow and pain. It placed a rainbow of peace in the sky for each other. I hope after the prison bell went off, that Joe was set free and they both had a terrific life together with prosperity too. I cried at the end hoping for this. 🌈🙏♥️

This film was a real surprise ... I was expecting something quite cheesy but was overwhelmed with its poignancy. Thank you for this!!

Great movie ! Refreshingly different from anything I've seen for a while. I can highly recommend her acting and long monologues which reflects the work and effort she must have put in at the time to get her role right.

Oh, the heroe's performance is touching. His breaking down, weeping and then putting his face deep into the lap of the heroine is a memorable scene of this film. Good direction.

Such an unusual movie.
It was riveting. I liked it.Sad though. Many folks find themselves in very bad situations due to circumstances that ruin lives.

What a movie. I love black and white movies because when they are good they are brilliant. Storytellin, script, acting, lighting often surpasses most movies today with some exceptions. This one I took a risk and it paid off. Very moving and risky going to see if I can find another now.
