I bought Avon ZV7's as a replacement for bridgestone Turanza, s recommended for my old 1.9 diesel audi A4 avant. On my car (205/55 16) these tyres have proven to be really good in the wet, much longer lasting than the bridgestones and the only slight niggle is a touch more road noise. They give a comfortable ride too. For the price they are fantastic and more importantly, safe!

I had the Avon winter tyres on my 2004 focus and it was brilliant.
Had avons on my motorcycle. Slightly firmer but no handling issues.
So ive just bought 4 of these for my Volvo C30, 205 50 17. £400 inc fitting. Being fitted soon.

Just had 4 ZV7 fitted on my SUV on 24th/12/2022, Only as the Continental are 50% more now but I am pleasantly surprised at ride comfort and wet handling.

ZV7. Middle of the road. They are definitely NOT ditchfinders though. Absolutely transformed my Tigra B handling. Very confident.
205/45/17 - very odd size, so quite pricey.

Got me a set of these £70 each tyre fitted. Reviews are pretty mixed for this tyre but they do what I want.

Just changed to Avon zv7 from event tyres big difference in grip. Events would wheel spin even setting off normally.

I used to go for toyo proxes t1r and they wee great on a mk1 leon but average on a 6k5 cordoba vario. I think the suspension set up on the cordoba didn't complement the tyre. I had pirelli p6000 on the leon before the toyo and they were every bit as good in the dry but not as good on the wet. The toyo grip in the wet on the leon was almost as high as in the dry. I'm thinking about getting the Avon zv7.

I bought in 29/3/23 zv7 (dot 0723 )which are made in Serbia. Is this problem and why they are not made in England

These Avon Tyres are good and IMO sit at the upper mid range the big brands are bettter but Avon are good for the money.

I these zv7s 18s on a mazda 6 sports 190hp version, id say there good in wet and dry Allrounders. No wheel spinning from tourqe.had over a year and still got tread.

I may get these once I buy new wheels. Using Grenlander tyres now, and the car feels a bit floaty at the front in the rain.

Could u answer a question for me... looking at putting on avon zv7 on my skoda however depending on what website u look at the sticker rating shows either a e rating for fuel efficiency or a c rating. Same tyre, same size can't understand it?

Really interested in the ZV7's for an Octavia which currently has 225/45/17 91w's - can a 91y be fit instead?

I put the ZV5 tyres on my Citroen Berlingo, I have to say they are the worst tyres I have ever had. The tyres are not subject to any punishment as the Berlingo is a wheel chair access vehicle. The tyres cracked around the tread area For this reason I will not buy Avon for anything now and have replaced with Continentals.

Just a point on front wheel drive cars. The Avon ZT5's fitted to the front of my wife's Audi A3 fsi were done at 14k miles which I thought disapppointing. The rear tyres show very little wear so with tyre rotation they would obviously do much better but having to rotate tyres is a nuisance. Bridgestone Potenzas fitted to the front of the same car did a bit better at 22k but not much. Is that unusual as my wife drives like a granny.
