DO THIS & Everyone Will RESPECT You (High-Status Exercises)

Aesthetics, strength, and confidence are the three things most people seek when they start working out.

But what if I told you there’s a form of training that doesn’t just transform your appearance but also builds your internal confidence?

Gymnastics training, street workout, or calisthenics is all about that.

It not only builds toned muscles but also improves joint health, and perhaps most importantly: it teaches you how to control your own body.

There are countless impressive exercises in gymnastics training that focus on maintaining positions or executing movements with your own body, rather than focusing on lifting external weights.

It’s all about what you can do with your own body, how you can move it, and how you can maintain certain positions.

These exercises range from beginner to advanced levels.

From holds that anyone can learn to more advanced ones that require more practice.

But the beauty of it is that the difficulty level of the elements isn’t necessarily proportional to their visual impact.

So, you don’t need to reach a pro level to perform moves that people respect. Even at the beginner level, you can already showcase impressive body control.

A typical example is the elbow lever. Despite its simplicity, it’s incredibly impressive, and most people can’t even distinguish it from the more advanced planche.

Or if you perform a beginner combination like an L-sit, shoulder stand, and elbow lever, which, based on my experience, my students achieve from scratch within a few months.
Executing such a combination is exciting, enjoyable, and gives a massive boost of confidence when you feel that you truly control your body.

It’s a unique feeling, something no other training form can provide in the same way.

You won’t find this feeling in other training forms like bodybuilding or CrossFit, as those focus on other aspects of fitness.

For example, in CrossFit, impressive elements like handstands, handstand push-ups, handstand walking, or muscle-ups all originate from gymnastics.

These exercises are the foundation of gymnastics training, and that’s why it’s worth starting – because only a few people can perform these moves.

This kind of confidence boost is different from the one you get when you look in the mirror and see your muscles growing or step on the scale and see your desired result.

It’s something extra that you can only achieve through mastering these movements and controlling your body.

And as an added bonus, the aesthetic results will come naturally as a “side effect.”

But why do these exercises hold so much value, and why do they give such a confidence boost?

Because it’s incredibly rare for someone to be able to perform even a simpler element like an L-sit or elbow lever.

And as we know, what’s rare increases in value.

Think about it: most people don’t work out, don’t have body awareness, and haven’t trained their bodies or focused on developing movement skills.

That’s why, when someone can perform these exercises, they immediately stand out because everyone knows how rare these skills are.

Your confidence grows because most people aren’t capable of such moves.

When you start this process and invest time in it – essentially the same amount of time others spend in three weekly aerobics classes – you’ll gain skills that seem unreachable to most.

This sets you apart from the crowd, and your confidence will significantly increase.

Let’s summarize briefly why gymnastics training should be prescribed for everyone to boost their confidence!

Absolutely agree with this. Most people in gyms don't do bodyweight stuff and just go straight for isolation exercises on the machines, as well as free-weights of course.

I agree completely. Also, this type of training is a lot more fun and interesting than simply lifting weights or doing machines at the gym.

There are some aspects that gymnastic training reveal at it's most (despite martial arts :D )
These are proprioception, coordination, reaction time and the most important - spatial awareness. Many of people (gym rats included) lack of these a lot. Moreover, these traits once gained are very vissible on a overall grace of movement one earned in the process ;)

Hey, I checked out the app and took a look at the beginner workout. Is there any progression to get to the headstand? It's the first exercise in the beginner section makea me think it's not for unfit people 😅

I do aerial silk, which is similar to gymnastics and that alone is impressive. I stopped my gym membership four years ago and put gym money towards aerial classes instead. I get compliments from a lot of people because i do aerial. It makes me stand out than people go to the gym and just lift weights and run on the treadmill. As they are nothing special.

But where can i start doing gymnastics? I've called several centres and all of them after knowing my age have told me that they don't think it is the best idea. How can i start on my own?

Adam, how much protein do you consume daily? I am fairly curious, you just seem so insanely strong and in control of any movement. Surely that type of sheer might takes quite a lot of protein and other nutrients to build up.
