Always always always flatten the bags. Lay the bags flat in the freezer so the food isnt all clumped up. Dont move them until they are frozen solid. Stacks nicely in the freezer also. The end was the best part. 💘

Often I will use regular ziplock sandwich bags, but stack the sandwich bags inside of a gallon size Ziplock Freezer bag. A bit less expensive and they take up less room, placing several quart bags in the freezer takes up less room than one gallon size. I don't have a chest freezer, so for me, its really about keeping them all contained in a smaller amount of freezer space.

Does the taste of the tomatoes change from being frozen, and how long would you guess on shelf life?

Does it change the taste of the tomatoes when you freeze them, diced or sauce? And how long would you say the “shelf life” is on frozen tomatoes?

You don't have to do anything to freeze tomatoes just put them in a pan, freeze them overnight then put them in a freezer bag and thats it.

Too much effort wasting. Plus you've lost the vital juice, the skin, I mean why do people do that? The skin with naturally disolve during cooking, plus it's good fibre for your digestive system. But I gotta say your daughter absolutely stole the show 😏
