Thank you! Just what I was looking and worked great in Blender 4.1

Great video, thanks for sharing. Learn some new keyboard shortcuts along the way. Awesome!

Thank you very much. I think I need to download 3.4 to get that "curve index" input for the resample curve node.

Thank you so much for this tutorial. I have struggled with that Curve Index on the Sample Curve node a few times. Very nice to see you feed a random integer to it and get good results.

In the demonstration I think you made a little mistake forgetting to set the math node to Subtract mode not the default Add mode after the Domain Size.

Great tutorials btw. Just one question, why do you need the Set Position component when you can connect directly from Sample Curve -position- to the -position- of the Points component? Thank you

hi ! Very nice tutorial ! I was wondering how to get them but with an even separation (even if the points of the curve are not the same distance everytime from each other) how to like get lets say 10 points go on the curve, all the same distance to its neighboor point
Thanks a lot :)

Great, it helps a lot with understanding the Sample Curve Node. Is there a way to distribute not randomly but algorythmicly, like having the points get nearer to each other at one end or the other? I need this because just instancing on a evenly resampled curve looks too static, but I don't want it to be completely random. Multiplying the Point Index by the Spline Factor doesn't work...

nice tutorial. but i really don't understand why Spline parameter's factor doesn't work to distribute points by it's gradient.

Hello !
First of all thank you very much for your tutorials (especially the one about the tree) they are by far the best you can find on YouTube.

I have a little question, I'm adapting your tree setup to do only branches and instead of using a curve line as a starter I started from a Bézier curve so I can draw new curves in edit mode to add more branches the shape I want.

The problem is that the distribute point on curve is spreading the total amount of points amongst all the curves so the more curves I create the less points are on each branches. I guess it is sampling all the different curves together instead of each one by one, , I don't know if I'm clear, if not please let me know.

Thank you again !
