I think that is a cool idea from HPI, I know for my self I rarely keep the stock Axial body. Would definitely be an advanced scale market not for the entry level

Vaterra needs to make a cheap cheap kit. Make it so the hobbiest can pick the wheelbase. Include both servo mounts and battery trays.

👍Agree the vaterra body is out of proportion...and also the camaros I love camaros I have a second gen Z28 and love that they made a RC camaro but it's lines are off and always when they make RC bodies of the second gen camaros or firebirds they always just look off..

As with most of the "trimmed Fat Budget Rigs", they're not going to appeal to the most hardcore.... However, for everyone else, the new Ascender IS a viable Option for guys like me, who really always wanted an Ascender, but being about $100 too much, had to just sit back and watch Everyone else enjoy theirs....
I do think that they, and other Manufacturers, should really start offering 1.55" Wheels. When most of these Models of the real Vehicles were made, there was no such thing as 19" (1.9" Scale) Wheels! They all came on 14 or 15" Wheels (except Certain HD options, which were still only 16").

Also, like the few other bare bones Rigs (TRX-4 Sport), almost whatever Body you want, is $35-55.00 away! 😉
