I'm 76 and have been making potato salad that everyone raves about for many years, however my significant other of 5 years (picky eater) has never commented on it. I stumbled on your channel a few days ago and have been watching with interest. We were having neighbors over for dinner yesterday and I decided to try making your potato salad to go along with pork chops and baked asparagus. Well, the neighbors loved it and my guy not only had two helpings, but he actually commented how good it was and, even though I'm a good cook, he hardly ever makes a comment on my food! Yours has taken the place of my "once famous" potato salad! Thank you, Rachel, I'll surely be trying more of your recipes.

Oh my gosh. She is the sweetest lady ever. I love the way she describes that recipe. And as she goes along she says “see?” So cute, a natural teacher.

I'm 75 and been making my mom's potato salad for years. Yours is very similar, but the main difference is the way you make your sauce separate and then add it to the potatoes. I love your method. My mom would love it too if she was still here but I'm sure she's watching me make it using your method from Heaven and nodding in approval..great job Rachel!🎉❤

I want to congratulate you on your excellent video, first there is NO distraction of noise ( which they call music) second the steps are so slowly described, the end result is really the BEST i have seen.thanks.

I have watched so many(100’s) baking & cooking videos on youtube and this is the first time I have ever felt that I was sitting in your kitchen as a friend would and you were speaking to me. This is a great quality to possess - You are a natural & amazing teacher!

Who knew one could learn so much from potato salad! Egg peeling under water, exact timing for cooking and cooling, and the perfect blend of ingredients. So helpful-thanks Rachel!!!

Oh Rachel, thank you for letting all of us out here in viewing land, ha ha, for letting us know that if you put your cold ingredients in with the hot potatoes, that it will curdle the cold ingredients.
That is extremely good and important to know, and I wouldn't have even known about that if you hadn't mentioned it
Thank you, thank you, and thank you again, and God Bless you too !!!❤🎉*

Rachel, I just made this potato salad step by step, even the cooling process. It is delicious! I am 69 and have made potato salad all my life, but never has it tasted so good! I really enjoy watching you cook. You seem so sweet and such a good cook! I am now doing many more recipes from your site. Thank you so much! Keep cooking!

This is exactly how I remember my moms potato salad tasted. Been searching for a long time at delis and sandwich shops but they always seemed to have more vinegar and mustard than I was looking for. Now I can make it myself when I get the cravings and I do about once a month. Thank you Rachel for explaining the techniques. My potatos always came out mush when I’ve attempted in the past and now I know why. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

You know Rachel, I love the way you prepare the food ! It comes through the YouTube video straight into my heart. Even this humble dish, potato salad, your messages are so calm and relaxing and precise. Bravo for putting your special magic into your recipes. They are educational, entertaining and practical. The one extra ingredient which you put into your food is your heart and it is so very evident. Thank you please continue your great work.
