Saw an entire fat family the other day at a garden centre and they all had a bottle of Diet Coke in hand. Made me smile.

Just sharing my experience on high protein, low carb, cico diet. I actually lose weight FAST and retain muscle. But after few weeks my energy DROPPED. I'm having hard time continuing my workouts and somewhat became lazy. Can't even think how I can KEEP UP this diet and feeling in my remaining life.

Then I switched my diet to more fruits/rice, less protein/fats, not counting calories. I don't even care about fats before, not until I watched your recent videos. Now I'm ENERGETIC, losing weight STEADILY but not as fast (because sometimes I still eat junk foods) Also my sugar levels are normal.

My activities in both diet are the same. Mainly biking/running, and some weights. But the feeling of satisfaction in my mind and stomach is different. And I can feel that I can continue this high carb diet in the future (and it's fun to buy fruits too)

@durianrider could you talk about how to get out of a plateau? If you get into a plateau when you lose the internal fire, is it a sign that my growing self confidence is really self-indulgence? If the internal fire consumes me, when do I just take in my progress and heal? Am I just not leaving the past in the past? I have a new take on life since I discovered your CTFU book in January. Ppl didn't believe me when I tell them I eat unlimited carbs, mostly fruit and rice, and limit to 10-20 g fat daily. I'm at the peak fitness of my life (lots of room for improvement) but I plateaued in October. First just assumed it was the cold, but now I don't know.

Thank you for your videos. I can't point to many instances of raw value in life- but this channel is one such instance.

Did you see tue state of Remcos bike today? I think youre on to something with the carbon layups being unsafe to offset the extra weight of the components. seeing more bikes split in two than I remember.

ive noticed alot of the time youtube doesnt show a play all videos button and doesnt show a play from this user and when it did it always goes back to random videos but that only happens with specific channels almost like their motive is to keep up with the status quo they dont let the real voices liek yours speak out

Could it be you feel you can eat unlimited calories because you bike for hours every day? If you didn’t do that would you still be lean?

Have you tried eating thousands of calories with pretty much only carbs above your maintenance without exercising much for a few months? Did you not gain any fat during those periods?
