This is a film people! Not a dance performance. Anyone who knows anything about dance can see she's a gorgeous dancer and the choreography is in service to the film and the filmmaker clearly was not only concerned with showing choreography.. If you aren't interested in film and want to see more choreography go to a dance performance or watch a video of a dance performance.

i don't really agree with the negative comments. I thought it was creative, nicely edited, and atmospheric. The dancing was superb. Part precision, yet partly uninhibited, impassioned, engagement, where she was clearly holding nothing back. Should there have been more prolonged and sustained bursts of dancing from an editing point of view? Yes, but only because I could watch this woman dance all day, and have trouble tearing my eyes away.

This was beautifully choreographed.
The reason for the many close ups of her face, is more than likely because it is also equally, emoting the emotional passion as her body movements are. I believe there was a great balance between the two, to deliver the complete feel of the dance and the song. <3
