Mike, what you pronounced as A S C 2 for ASCII at 13:33 is pronounced as ASS-KEY, an acronym for American Standard Code for Information Interchange, which is a character encoding standard for electronic communication. You can Google the acronym for more info. Using a desktop PC, you can hold down the ALT key and type 077 on the numeric keypad to get M onscreen. Then ALT 073 gets I, ALT 075 gets K, and ALT 069 gets E.

The one mystery I'd like to solve is " Why did that chick get such weak sentence for her vandalizing idiocy?"

Aside from the unsolved mysteries in this list of solved mysteries, the shower one? That's silly, it's thermal dynamics. Ever had a hot shower? the curtain draws inwards, letting cool air in, had a cold shower? the curtain doesn't move.

17 is like an art instalation. By the way the extension chord survalence was a second hand one purchased by the owners mom at a clearance sale from an office that was being shut down, the idea is that it was some sort of commercial espionage

I had a police investigator come to talk to me at work (I worked in parts at a car dealership) about a mirror cap that was found at a crime scene. It was a neat experience and I was able to show him the different models that looked the same and gave him information on where to look for the part number.
It was a neat experience, especially since I like true crime.

Dean Koontz uses 'Mystery Train' in a series he wrote with the main character Christopher Snow, commonly called the Moonlight Bay Trilogy, although it only has 2 books released to date. ( Fear Nothing, & Seize the Night)

The shakespeare case was not solved by reddit. The killer made the mistake of sending a text from his phone to his mother. Doesn't sound like much, but he was illiterate. The reddit think was the final nail.

The point of Cicada 3301 was to entertain and engage puzzle enthusiasts. And it worked on that level. Should have led to something cool though. Like money.

Even if Scott did grab the taser, Slager shot a man who was fleeing in the back. Still murder.
