Wrestler Vinesh Phogat has appealed against her disqualification from the wrestling final at the Paris Olympics 2024 with the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS). The move from the Indian wrestler comes after she was not allowed to compete in the finals of the women's 50kg category after missing her weight by just 100 grams. Vinesh, who had won the semi-final bout via a 5-0 margin was the first Indian woman wrestler to qualify for the final in the Olympics. #vineshphogat

Actually when she wrestled in semi final at that time her weight was actual within 50 kgs. So that she should get Silver medal. It is also to be pointed out that IOC should change the rule, as she was not disqualified due to take any medicines which is banned by IOC, only by means her weight was gain merely 100 gms. In this situation one question does arise that IOC should amend this rule that one competitor when she or he compete any weighing event as per weighing category, if in any time any competitor's gain some weight at the prize position and if he or she get prize after defeating the competitor who lost in prize position then the winner should get in that position, where he or she being stopped for further competition.

IOC is so biased. On one side they are allowing players with XX female chromosomes to compete with XY male chromosomes, which is very strange. And other side they are taking only 100 gms a good reason to be disqualified. This is not justified at all. She deserves a silver as she won it when she was within 50 kg margin
