This could be a series of different leagues. Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Super Lig, Premier League. Leagues from all over the world. It fits Netflix's brand touching all corners of the world.

Once Messi and Ronaldo retire, I'd like to see a documentary about their rivalry @Netflix.

Where were all these documentaries when Ronaldo, Messi and their superteams were in their peak?

You should make a whole documentary series about La Liga when it was the most exciting time, so about the time back when we had Cristiano vs Messi rivalry in La Liga and prime Real vs prime Barca - this was a genius era, and it is the story worth watching! There WILL never be another Cristiano or another Messi, regardless of what is your opinion about each one, they are both absolutely brilliant and unique. Also, kids who were too young or weren't even born back when Cristiano and Messi started, really have no clue how these two changed the whole football, each in their own way, there are in fact a few books about it already! And the kids today also have no clue how amazing especially Cristiano was when he was young! I say Cristiano here, because before the chronic knee disease - tendinosis- that Cristiano was diagnosed with back in 2014, he was a completely different player than he is today.

He was a brilliant winger doing constant, relentless runs on either wing, with all the skills and tricks you could imagine, played joga bonito, and scored bangers! Especially during his first spell at United. Young Cristiano in United was like a supernova and nuclear bomb exploding at the same time - brilliant player, insanely popular& marketable, and handsome as f0ck! (no homo, but just look up Cristiano's pictures, especially from 2005-2009, he was smth else!). He was a full package in a way no other athlete in history ever was! He was like Marlon Brando if Brando was a footballer!

This is why my beloved era of football will always be first the 90s, and then the first decade of the 2000s - magical time! So many tactical changes happened during this time, the tactical evolution of the game, but also we had absolutely historic footballers! No one comes close to Cristiano and Messi, even young 'stars' today, - it's just a fact. So the documentary about all of this would be great, this one - I'm not interested in much.

Wow Lewa sounds so much like Ibra when he said "you cannot be afraid of this kind of emotion"

Why don't you do a new to Netflix anymore? I want to see what's coming out every month. I have to rely on other websites to know what's out on Netflix. That is stupid and it'll hurt you.

It would have cost Netflix 3x as much to make a Movie or show on La Liga if Messi and Ronaldo still played in it but they'd make 6x as much

This could rival Drive to Survive. With LaLiga being the most exciting league next season, and Mbappe, Jude, and Vini playing for Real Madrid, this will surely be bigger than Drive to Survive

I used to be a firm believer that Prem was the hardest league until I realized it’s actually La liga. Prem is rooted in physicality whereas La liga is characterized by quick passing, technicality and ball IQ. It’s by no means easy to play or manage a team there so props to the vets that have been doing it for decades.

With the euro 2024 winner Spain this show releases 2 days after the victory. Focusses not only on the 2 giants but also the other clubs. Typical netflix production so so lots of slomos, shots with a punch and goals. A must watch for every football fan.

So Netflix and La Liga, this would be a good shot at compromising and distracting everyone from the racisim issues faced by Vinius Jr last season if you don't show them here. I'm looking forward to this documentary but the trailer doesn't seems to address this story so far...!! well done.
