I like the idea of having two teams that are sort of related conceptually. Both of them look really good, I like the glitch effects and the custom corruption sprites. Just out of curiosity, did you draw the red/pink corruption lines in the sprites manually? I recall seeing an effect using random noise (I think it was Perlin Noise) that looks like that, which could be interesting to generate chaotic patterns like those.

I think having different arrows like those is really good for a team format, since you can stick to a particular theme (red for corruption, glitchy and pixelated for Pibby). In other cases, I think it would still look good to have variety, but there wouldn't be a specific theme.
