Fripp has a feral energy here... the thing you want to keep going your entire life... especially if you are an artist and not 25. I do think he hears himself in the original song and this is a kind of feedback loop and reminds us that covers are a way to uncover things. Always impressed with RF. The haters have much to learn about themselves and I hope the lessons eventually sink in.

I like it. Only in pop / rock cover tunes is a person expected to do a solo exactly as recorded. I think the solo is good, improvising is a good thing.

Never knew Fripp was amazing and godly at playing a typical kickass rock solo, considering the stuff he does with Crim is a lot more experimental.
