Thoughts on the Nike GT Cut 2? 🤔

Such a divisive shoe. I like mine and got two pairs. Despite high off thee ground and minor heel slippage, the cushioning is best and more than offset the negatives. Overall it suits my playing style as a guard. I play them outdoors too, no issues with traction

Yes they are, my GT cuts are broken in, I really like them…I need to get a second pair asap..

Returned these, too high off the ground for me.

In the beginning of the month hooping on them (Outdoors) I rolled my ankle once but after breaking them in and hooping on them for 8 months they have lasted for a while still. Still recommend these for hooping indoors though.

This shoe should be good but some how it sucks. You sit like 4 inches above the ground. Why? I dont know maybe to make you taller? Not stable cuz of that. Traction is... Not bad. But the heel slippage with the terrible lacing system and the insole which is a react insole that is not soft tall and has a cloth on the top layer. Why? Idk i guess its to generate static electricity and light up the lights of the court?the heel slippage is so bad its dangerous for shifty guards. And its heavy and clunky for no reason. The outsole is about 1 inches. Why? IDK! Also this shoe barely breaks in and even that does NOTHING. Oh did i mention the outrigger? It doesnt contain you either!I mean the outrigger isnt terrible but due to the heal slippage and lack of lateral support it should have been better. How did this pass nike?

No it’s a low top. It’s never a good Choi e to leave your ankle exposed
