I've wondered how strong Black Diamond's Pecker was. Skot Richards sent me his pecker that he left on El Cap for 2 years.
The frayed cable broke at 7.05kN
The sun bleached webbing broke at 6.93kN
The nose bent at 4.96kN
The middle bent at 17.97kN
"Fully Placed" broke the bottom at 19.21kN
Funkness sling broke at 3.91kN

do you ever run high speed cameras? surely that would give you more information on how the failure happened? i think these are expensive to buy / maintain, so it might not be a good option. look into it, maybe its for you!

You can tell it's cut instead of casted, cam shafts make a perfect example or that, but a GTR camshaft that's not casted metal cost around $20, 000-30, 000
