On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.

2:30 if this happened minute later, it almost would be a viable tactic for supporting SF assault. Dutch did that in 1977 using their F-104s during hostage rescue operation - terrorists had bunch of hostages held up in a train, and just before the spcial forces asault, six starfighters zoomed the train on treetop level at full speed, one after another, with noise deafening and stunning terrorists like some kind of supercharged continuous flashbang.

Imagine being the SF unit hearing about the F-15 sacrificing himself so the SU-27 wouldn’t get them, honestly that would’ve been a sad moment but sacrifices are needed in wars or in a simple battle like these

I just started playing DCS myself and I have to say that I admire your flying skills even more after fighting with the planes myself. Everything you do in a dogfight looks so effortless and controlled. Keep up the great vids man!

Interesting to imagine the sinking feeling that pilot would have felt when he realized his bandits radar signature wasn't going away and he only had one missile left.

In this case, would it have been a valid tactic to stay out of the MAR but still try to keep the attention on you and not the SF guys? I get that the bandit could assume at that point you were no longer a threat and pursue them, but I'm just curious. Seems like, just maybe, if this was your real life on the line there could have been a way to preserve your life while completing the mission.

To clarify a "hypothetical"...yes, the SF guys would not want you to sonic boom the target...but, there's no sneaking up on someone with a Blackhawk, no matter how hard you try, they make a lot of noise.

That said, just a clarification;
‘Special Forces’ is a term exclusive for the US ARMY Green Berets.
‘Special Operations’ means everybody else; Rangers, SEALs, USMC FR, etc….
Green Berets are typically tasked to live & op behind enemy lines, gathering Intel & developing resistance militants.
‘The Statesman Soldiers’, would be typically, last call for the Mission we just enjoyed watching.
It’s mostly the ‘Spec Ops’ guys that would helo in & run the captures.
