Blessings on the Bluffs - Tender Valley Theme (Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail) acoustic classical guitar cover

This is pretty similar to Ceruleum Smoke at High Noon, but I thought it was different enough to warrant an arrangement. I prefer to play this one. I have two more from Dawntrail, the somber MSQ theme and Skybound Emerald (Yak T'el Night Theme). I also have three FF9 tracks featured in Dawntrail to wrap up the project: Tantalus's Theme, Fleeting Life, and Court Jesters.

I hope y'all have been enjoying the streams. It has been nice to reconnect and play live. Make sure to also follow on Twitch in case I don't multistream.

Blessings on the Bluffs (Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail)
Composed by Masayoshi Soken, Takafumi Imamura
Arranged by John Oeth

Gear:
2002 Paul Jacobson guitar
Augustine Strings
Stereo Neumann TLM 102
Sony a7iii

I loved this dungeon, the lore we learned in it and its OST. Great job brother! :)

Hello John, I found you recently, I am a developer from Brazil and I listen to cover games songs all day during work time. Congratulations for you amazing work! I don't know where I could ask a song, but here you go: If could be possible, I would love to listen to a song of yours of "Outer Wilds" game. Best regards!

Heya, been awhile - thanks for all the new pieces, they’re always appreciated! I still credit your music as a major contributor to graduating nursing school

I have a question if you’ve the time and patience to answer 😂

Looking at pursuing classical guitar and mixed between attending a university or paying an experienced instructor - what’s your take on this? I’m not entirely certain the path you took but have a rough idea after watching your vids and comments you’ve made at times

mind you I’ll keep nursing as my job and don’t plan to play or teach for work - but I do want to be able to play professionally and to be able to understand music theory, read, compose, etc and if an additional degree is the better course of action I’d jump on it : )
