I've seen quite some brickfilms, while it's a neat way to use Lego seeing the umpteenth actionscene/shootout can get a bit repetitive.
This one was fucking awesome though. The way it starts off slowly and keeps ramping up in terms of intensity. Tasteful edits of printed tiles. The deliberate use of 80's style sets and pieces for the calm backdrop to offset the more modern loud and fast racecar action.
The highly detailed walmart out of nowhere. When the red car ramped straight into space. Taking down people in the store. tactical rolling out of the car.
I was cheering at that point. Wonderful raw, pure, unadultered fun animation that shows how it's done to play with toys.
