This is gorgeous!!

In my opinion, as an artist for the last 50 years, no plan is the best plan. Go with your gut and you can't go wrong. And if it does go "wrong" (in relation to your vision), change your vision and work with what you have. In the event something isn't salvageable (and there will always be someone who likes a piece you hate), trash it or cover it in gesso and start over. Even the masters did this. We know today because we have the tech to be able to see what is below a current painting. The masters covered the original and repainted the piece all the time. They also gave their "crap" pieces to another artist under their tutelage, who covered it and started over. Many valuable paintings have been discovered by tech being able to see through the layers to the original.

I have to say that I'd never thought to treat resin like an acrylic pour. Honestly, it works better in resin as there's a longer working time than in pure acrylic paint. You've inspired me!

I love that you did this. Showed me so much. What happens when you overwork a piece, not to fear adding and adding and adding 😂 It was gorgeous many times throughout the video. And ended up being beautiful at the end also! I have a piece where I don’t like one corner. Now I have to add different colors to that corner and you actually showed me how. Even though it’s been sitting for two days! Awesome video, thanks!

The finished piece is very pretty but my favorite look that had me think 'WOW' was at the 5:10 mark. That was truly beautiful!!

Your work is simply amazing! Watching you tilt the canvass to get your composition together is no different than using a paint brush. You, are, for the lack of better words, a TRUE MASTER!
this was added after:
You stated at the finish point that it had been overworked, so I have to say, that is in the eye of the artist. Having been an artist myself for so many years that I am almost afraid to see the number(!) I have learned when I thought a piece of work was over done, I added to much outlining, (I use lines to make shadows, just a technique I learned many centuries ago, people around me do not agree. And I do not think you have overworked this piece. There are quite a few artists on YouTube that I would say yes, they overwork it. Especially in pour painting. One to many colors, and this technique of creating cells. OMG! It's like, the artist that dies with the most cells on their canvass wins! And it has gone to, not how many, but HOW BIG!! I watched one video where the cells overtook the whole painting, which had been a great composition, and killed it. It looked like some type of huge bug had crawled on it and laid eggs'! And I, as usual, digress. Simply put, looking thru your work, I see nothing that I would say even comes close to being overworked. I would just ask that you not stop making these beautiful pieces of art.

I really liked the way it was in the beginning. It looked like you were looking down on water and mountains, that was a beautiful view to me. Thanks for sharing your technique.

i actually think this came out great! I really like the colors you chose...I like that you have your paint in bottles, keeps it neat and clean. Thank you!

Absolutely stunning! I can't wait to do it! And I love that you shared all of the details so that I can get the same colors (they match my office!). The only thing that was a negative was the music. Some nice, soft night time jazz or some spa music might have been less distracting. But the art was THE BEST! Thank you, Debra!

At the 4:20 mark it was perfect in my opinion. I loved the finished piece as well. Great job 👏

It’s outstanding. I didn’t know that you could touch the edges with hand or add colours to the parts that you’re not happy with. Thank you so much for sharing 🙏👌👌❤️

WoW 😮, you really REALLY did overwork that resin, . It looked Beautiful right at the beginning then, you just wouldn’t leave it alone.
It did turn out looking good but, it looked great at first.
Thanks 🙏🏻 God bless ❤️ 🙏🏻

It’s interesting to see the numbers of times you are dissatisfied with your piece. I saw numerous occasions where the painting looked perfect. Of course the end result is gorgeous! Only thing I would have done different was to have some tiles ready to capture the paint poured off the canvas, as coasters.
