RTX 4060 Ti and RX 7600 Generational Leaps

These are truly one of the GPUs of all time! Nvidia and AMD have recently released their mid-tier GPUs, The 4060 Ti and RX 7600 and let's just say that the performance increase across all of these GPUs is laughably bad, there's practically no difference at all between these GPUs and their respective predecessors, up to 5% increase should be considered no increase at all, that's why I made this meme video showcasing just how bad this situation can get.

Nvidia and AMD have worked very hard to deliver absolutely no performance gains with their new generation of GPUs

We're stuck into a "4 cores- Intel-era-for-a-decade" but now with gpus

The funniest part was when both the 3060ti and 6650xt beat the 7600 and 4060ti in higher resolution

With this kind of progress, I will upgrade my GPU only in 10 years...

I think this is the best clip and meme that someone could make for a situation such as 4060ti and 7600😂

7600 vs 6600:
Gain: 26.5%
Cost per frame Newegg: $4.3
6600 cost per frame (2 years ago): 6.73
Cost per frame improvement: 6600 costed 52% more per frame at launch
Conclusion: Not a bad card but AMD discounted the RX6700 so buy that instead.
Edit: Source is Hardware unboxed.

Who needs affordable upgrades when you can pay more for the same thing? Thanks, Nvidia, for reminding us that the only thing that scales in your company is the price tag.

I can tell this is a real GPU generation gap match cause I was there in the crowd wearing my integrated graphics shirt

Main quest for nvidia: release a gpu, with good performance, more than 4gb of vram, and more than 128 bit bus, without burning cables because it takes 900watts idle and dont fool the market with renames. Side quest: put it at a good price
Mission: failed

The thing is the 7600 is not a bad card compared to the 6600. The 4060ti tho is VERY BAD compared to the 3060ti

7600 is a good generational leap compared to the 6600 (25-30% increase in performance) but AMD discounted the last gen 6700 and 6700 XT to the point where those are more worth it in terms of value.

1:00 This is exactly what I've been predicting. If the performance gaps from tier to tier in the 40 series keep being that huge, the lower cards will be outperformed by the same tier of the previous generation.

Think it is a bit unfair for RX 7600. It is actually a really good replacement for 6600. Only issue is the price and the fact that atm you can get 6700 at the same price and 6650xt cheaper than 7600. Once the price goes down and 6000 series stock dries up, 7600 is going to be amazingly good 1080p card with its only drawback being VRAM capacity. However reviewers for some reason compare 4060ti to its model predecessor, 3060ti and 7600 to its price competitor 6650xt instead of its model predecessor RX 6600. Once you compare it to the card it's meant to replace, 7600 is looking really good.

Meanwhile i am still expecting generational leaps from mobile chipsets and portable pc gaming console chipsets

I upgraded to a 3060Ti from a 1060 6GB 1 week ago. I saw that they were going to release the 4060Ti after buying it and I was like F*ck man why did I not wait.

And then I saw the benchmarks and was relieved 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Just one person showed up at launch in japan to buy a 4060 Ti. It's a pcgamer article you can google it.

Well, while 3060ti vs 4060ti is like a 5% performance improvement,
6600 vs 7600 is a 25-30% performance improvement, that is not that bad, the problem is that is should match the 6600 street price that is now like 220 dollars.
And everybody knows that this will happen when the remaining stock of RDNA2 will end in a few months

It's how they make their balance for each other:
'Half bit compared to its predecessor' vs 'One wins only its predecessor'
