Uploading this video has been the battle of a lifetime. Despite trying legit EVERYTHING, the only way I can get this up without it being blocked W O R L D W I D E (fuck you WMG!) is through a free streaming link. Sucks that probably no one is gonna see the video because of that but, here we are. RIP. I tried. Genuinely...I am so upset and depressed over this. After a month of labour my next project is complete! This one is very special to me...I watched the anime Monster during the first lock down of 2020, and it moved me deeply. What a masterpiece it is! Not only was it a mature tale of morality and human nature, but it was also one of growth, new beginnings, and hope.
The character Nina Fortner (or Anna Liebert) stood out to me way more than I ever could have anticipated. She is put through the damn RINGER in this show lmao, but despite all the bullshit, all the people in her life who die, all the irreplaceable things she loses, she finds hope, and ultimately moves on and heals. That was such an inspiring message to me, and I wanted to convey that in an AMV if possible. So, my goal was to show all the dark and twistedness of life (specifically Nina's life) to then show the good parts, the beauty and joy that can still coexist in darker times. Hopefully I managed to do that! Either way, this was fun to make.
