i definitely want kids and i agree with a lot of David’s thinking here, but I appreciate your perspective and i hadnt thought about the inherent narcissism of valuing your children above all. but i think this is a natural form of narcissism. and i think it implies that David does his best to give his children happy lives that are worth living. that being said, it is wrong to judge anyone for deciding they dont want kids, or to think lesser of them for it

People who want to have children, will have children. Many children even. Those who don’t, don’t have to. To each their own. What’s the actual problem with that?
