Instant Full Tank of Gas!🛢⛽️

Ford F150s,F250s, and F350s in the early 90s came with two fuel tanks or dual fuel tanks. Each one had a fuel pump and you can switch between the tanks with the fuel pump selector switch located on the dash bezel inside the truck. So, with the flick of a switch, my truck is back to a full tank of gas.😁🤙🛢⛽️

This is 100% my favorite feature! Unfortunately both of my tanks fill really slow, I’ve tried unhooking the charcoal canister to see if it was plugged but it still didn’t work. Any idea’s? Thanks for keeping OBS pickups alive, your videos make working on so much easier!

Driving a 97 F250, still not 100% sure why we want these over one larger tank... but i sure love having it for some reason.

I've thought of adding the bronco 38 to the rear of mine but keeping the front also. Would be nice for trips

I just fixed the sending units and switched out the tanks, starting to love having working dual tanks! Although mine don't let me fill them up all the way, can only go up to about 3/4 tank before the pump stops pumping. Filling them up would sure cost a lot though lol

My first vehicle, was a 1978 Chevy Silverado 350 engine, with two duel tanks. on of them didn’t work. That truck swallowed gasoline, burning is an understatement.

You can swap the rear tank with a bronco tank as well which has thirty something gallons for even more storage. It just hurts more when filling up

My front tank pushes all its fuel to the rear tank. Sending unit is $150 and if one has gone bad the other will be close behind so that’s $300 in parts and a full days labor to fix it. I’m stuck filling up the back tank every 200 miles

Love the old trucks. Hate the guzzlers of an engine that they hold lol. Still wouldn’t sell my 93 though. Too attached now

Big truck makers screwed themselves when they started putting small gas tanks in a full size truck with a big V8 and a 23 gallon fuel tank.

I might be buying an “84” f150 with dual tanks. Do both tanks get filled by one fill tube ? There are 2 doors but the second one is just an empty hole. Sounds like a dumb question but I’ve never owned one before. Thanks
