Why is this preferable over defining a function that takes in a number and return to grade and then applying that function to a field in the data frame
Edit: after watching the second half of the video I realized that if you have a significant number of conditions then this is probably better than writing and if else statement

With VSCode, you can use Notebook Jupyter. It might be easier to display the code and the result of the execution.
