Q.4 ( -1) × 5, write various products showing some pattern to show (-1) × (-1) = 1

EXPLANATION:
First we'll write
( - 1) x 5 = -5
Then in the place of 5 will write 4 like this (-1)×4= -4
Now we will write 3 in the place of 4 like this (- 1) x 3 = -3
Like this only we have to subtract 1 number till the number come -1
So here I am writing the answer hope it helps you

ANSWER:
(- 1) x 5 = -5
(-1) x 4 = -4
(- 1) x 3 = -3
( - 1) X 2 = -2
(- 1) X 1 = -1
(-1) X 0 = 0
( - 1) x (-1) = 1

I think you are doing some mistake from exercise 1.3 question number 4 for that you are doing exercise 1.2, s 4th question
