I've learned so much from you....never too old to learn new tricks of the trade. I'm 72 and still have a huge garden with only me caring for it. Thanks for your knowledge over the years. Have a safe fall and winter.

Hi Cliff and lovely Diane we never tire of your skill at onion stringing, firstly it's getting these glorious onions in the first place for which you have the skills, then to make it look so effortless in the stringing, nice also to see you have saved your seed for next season . Stay safe my friends all best Bill and Val

I would rather watch Cliff string onions than watch a movie! Followed this method this year, works a charm.

Hi Cliff & Diane! 😊. Beautifully done, so calming. I could watch this vid until I finish all my kitchen chores😆. The onions I grew here in Zone 7A were small but I love them all for they are juicy & fresh. Hopefully, next season I’ll improve on my technique and grow them a bit bigger.
You’re a very knowledgeable farmer Cliff and you make it look easy. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and thank you Diane for great vid. presentation.💝❤️💕. You make a great team.
It’s starting to be cooler here, corn & most tomatoes are done. Fall gardening has commenced.
Keep safe. God bless you & your family.🍂🙏💜❤️💕😊

Another great video! I meant to mention before that your description and explanation for blight is the best I've ever seen/heard! Thank you so very much for educating us, this gardening hobby can be quite complicated at times! You're an excellent teacher! Much appreciated!

Thank you so much Mr. Cliff for showing this. I’m a subscriber, I’m not sure if I’ve commented before. I hung the onions I grew for the first time this year. I hope to always be able to use your wisdom as long as I grow onions. Thanks again. I love your channel, I’ve learned so much about tying up raspberry canes, stringing up onions, pruning grapes and propagating flowers. I hope to be able to overwinter my gifted white begonias. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge and garden.😊🍁♻️

Cliff, I saw your video on this last year and it inspired me to plant extra onions this year to try this storage method. I have strung 25 strings of reds, 34 of yellows and 15 of white. I plan to give some of the strings away as Christmas presents. Looking forward to trying this with the spring garlic! I have planted 3 extra beds this fall. Thanks again!

Cliff,

I love following along with your weekly garden chores and learn so much from your techniques and skills. If I’m not asking too much, would you touch on some challenges in gardening such as rodents control? Most of what we grow are on ground level and some garden practices such as composting can invite unwanted intruders that make our food unsalvageable or unpleasant. I would like to hear what you do especially this time of the year when harvesting is underway. Thanks so much and very blessed to have your weekly videos.

Cliff! I just love onions, I can almost eat them like an apple! One of my favourite vegetables! An I’m hoping next year I can grow them bigger than golf balls so I’ll be watching and following your way of grow onions from seed both red and brown from seed things like when you sow, and into what, when you plant out ! All of that stuff to hopefully get bigger onions 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞take care and you both keep safe, will see you next week! 👍
