We took the newly launched MG Windsor for a range test on the new Gurgaon Delhi Expressway. The Windsor has been priced very competitively by MG Motor and it offers good quality materials, nice comfort and a decent value proposition making it a strong choice for families and fleet owners alike.

Why all of these auto journalist drove this car with one passenger behind -and only tested it on the highways? Is that what told by MG? What is the range when the car is full with 5 people and loaded luggage, some run in the city and some on the highway?

Such a comfortable car. But needs to get charged every 200kms. MG is putting on a shit show with their battery capacity now. JSW trying to shutdown MG company totally I guess😂

Its quite clear that Baas only makes sense if you are looking to buy the vehicle upfront without an emi. If you're financing the vehicle you might as well finance the battery with the bank instead of one of these NBFCs. You'll get a lower interest rate with the banks and also it will be one payment. Why pay an emi for the vehicle with a bank and then pay another seperate subscription fee with an NBFC, thats esentially two EMIs

Why you are forcing it will give you 280 km range when its giving 190-200 km range? Mg suggested you to highlight it, i am using EV car almost from 2 years, most of the users do not bring battery lower than 20% so according to it may go around 160-180 km, My long range car(punch and nexon) with 5 people and 20% battery remaining gives me comfortably 240-260 km range.

Without a bigger battery and being such a huge car it does not qualify for family car or highway car... Better they could have brought a small car with this battery It might be a good choice for corporate executives travel within city or to bring expats from Airport to the office within city... They would love it....

Who puts regen at heavy on a highway? It decreases the range.

Can someone explain to me how the BaaS is a good idea? If someone's buying this car on EMI, he/she must also pay the rental, which will make it more costly per month. I believe this is almost the same as getting the car with the battery. I might be wrong & any clarifications are welcome.

video was pretty good but the 0-100 is wrong i test drove the car and it did a 0-100 in around 10 seconds or so in sports mode with 2 people in it

when u talk about claimed figure, then it should be with minimum settings ie Eco+, but u r doing range test in Normal/Sports mode and comparing with claimed range, i feel this range test is not right.

dont buy wingsor it all about the range which is very less they should have invested in battery more rather than the features and interior. rather than buying this car which is all about features and look, buy a nexon middle varent same price point with better range and good interior all at once becouse in the end range, power and durability is what matters in country like india

Using phone while driving is an offence, but using a 15" infotenment display is not. This is nothing but nonsense!
also, 'to rely on operating a touch display while driving' is the biggest glorified blunder in the history of Automobile engineering.
