Honestly I loved to hate everything about this new game. After looking at everything tho, the trailers and customization trailers over and over… it actually doesn’t look bad. It is what it says it is. A reboot. Sure it sucks that it’s not anything similar to 1 or 2. But I guess they wanted to go with something modern and with the times to feel like they had a better chance at competition with newer games. It’s not what us original fans wanted, but it’s what we got and probably gotta make the most of it if you want a new SR game tbh.

The new owners don't know what reboot really means. They think it means give people the same b.s. and push it and get paid, we like it, fuck the fans. That was the feeling of the interview between the hipsters they have making it. Most of the dialogue is some Nickelodeon, bully vs geek conversation b.s. not gangsta vs Mafia or ex soldier vs the cartel

The Reboot looks like a joke, like Saints Row 1 & 2 were the best games in the series but no when Saints Row 3 came out, everything went downhill
Like even Volition had plans to make a Saints Row games based on how Julius & Benjamin King worked together befor going seprate ways like a gangsta game set in the 80s/90s would've hella dope for a Saints Row game OR!!! if I remember correctly Volition had plans that The Boss would go to Japan because the bomb that was putting The Boss into a coma at the end of Saints Row 1 was made by the Yakuza (even though Julius set it off) so The Boss flew all the way the Japan and made sure that The Saints would also expand there besides in Stillwater etc.
So no, im not hyped about the reboot because I dont wanna play college kids who are trying to make money inorder to pay their student loans or some sort of b-shit!

People take gaming way too seriously, don't get me wrong I love it myself but I don't cry at a games faults or lack of real world realism or story. Games to me are supposed to be fun and a escape from reality. Saints row offers some of the most over the top wacky and fun things I've ever seen in a game and the new one looks to just grow on that even more. We are all spoiled today in the world of video games and gotta just learn to have fun and not look for every reason to hate something. I for one will buy this game at launch and hopefully have a good time playing if not I'll move on to one of the other millions of amazing titles that are being announced every day.
