CXBX Reloaded The NEW OG-XBOX Emulator tested out!

Today its time to unleash the new build of the OG XBOX Emulator! It has just come out of its first major development stage and is now starting to see many games now playable VERY WELL.

Its also now implementing a new DirectX 9 API which has come into play. This could mean some breakthroughs with many games.

They also talk of changing their file format to ISO so you do not have to DUMP the disc ISO is a pain in the arse way.

XBOX Emulation has come a long way. Just a couple of years back I was seeing me test the only 2 working games at the time running around 2fps. Now we actually have playable games. GREAT NEWS. Thank you to their team and their hard work!

So glad OG Xbox is getting things happening with emulation. Was kinda sad that Xbox was being left out in the dust but it looks like it might finally catch up to something the likes of PCSX 2 and Dolphin. Is it any possible to get any jailbreak stuff working on the emulator so shit like XLink Kai would work?

Jet Set Radio Future works way smoother on this emulator when you are in crowded streets than on X360, guess I'll switch to CXBX Reloaded.

Some games that should be in your lineup for testing with this emulator are Halo 2, Ninja Gaiden Black, Fable and Orta. Also, would be cool if you'd leave a link to get the xbox dashboard

Nice as always. I am hoping for StarWars Knights of the Old Republic to become playable in the future. The Xbox dashboard reminds me of what you can do with the Dolphin emulator. You can install the Wii OS and run it on the Dolphin Emulator which is cool.

This is a great work in progress. I did try this emu with a copy of Otogi Myth of Demons which is by far my favorite game on the OG Xbox but most of the textures were pretty much missing. The sound was on point most of the time. I noticed sometimes it would desync. Overall, it is great to see this being brought to life. This really needed to happen for a very long time. Congrats to all who is helping develop this software! We owe you a debt of gratitude!

This looks great and i always wondered why it took so long in comparison to other emulation projects as the XBOX was driven by a standard celeron 733Mhz and was actually just a pc. This is great progress. I really like to see Conkers Reloaded, Wreckless, Halo on this :) Have a nice day
