Sonic is the third strongest, as Sonic 2-3 shows.
Shadow beat Sonic, knuckles, and tails multiple times with no difficulty.
Knuckle bodied Sonic but was nerfed due to being soft because of Sonic and the family.
Sonic couldn't beat Knuckles but convinced him because Eggman was stealing the emerald and needed to go super to even get close to beating Shadow but theirs no true winner.
