Really enjoying the series of videos on France. I have been following your channel since you purchased the car in Bulgaria but just subscribed. Looking to move to France and the details are very helpful. The vehicle purchase, pick up service and drivers license is great.

For a US Citizen, they would need French insurance to cover at least 30, 000 € - plus a US insurance cover to qualify ? Would if the US Citizen is on Medicare health coverage in the US, would this qualify for the US cover, if needed.?

Additionally, how would someone with pre-existing conditions get a no-exclusion policy? With a zero deductible.

Great information. Thanks.

For purpose of clarity as I'm a bit confused. U.S. sourced "retirement income" - S.S., pensions, withdrawals from tIRA, Roth IRA are not taxed by France, correct? However, are those same U.S. sourced retirement income sources (that France does not tax as income) used to determine whether or not persons are liable for paying a health care system tax?

What is the least expensive French Health Insurance monthly/annually premiums I could get being 60 year old women with No health issues? I Never smoked, Never drank alcohol or sodas, Never did drugs and always eat the healthiest so I never get sick and my health exam shows I am perfectly healthy like a 20 year old. I don't trust doctors so I do everything to make sure the only reason I would ever have to see a doctor or hospital visit is to get a 'clean bill of health report' or if I was in a car accident. Due to my extremely healthy lifestyle I expect to have the same excellent health for the next 40 years. Thanks.
