=Sin wt + 2cos²wt-1
dx/dt = w cos wt- 4wcos wt sin wt
=w cos wt -2w sin 2wt
d²x/dt²= -w²sin wt - 4w²( cos2wt)


Now d²x/dt²+ w²x
= -w²sin wt -4w²cos2wt +w²sinwt+w²(2cos²wt-1)
=-3w²cos2wt ≠0

So it's not an equation of shm

32:21 Let's just find the value of x from the equation of S.H.M ;
d²x/dt+w²x=0
=>d²x/dt = -w²x
=>v.dv/dx= -w²x
=>v.dv= -w²x.dx
=>int[0, v]v.dv=int[A, x]-w²x.dx ; [integrating both sides. When x=A then v=0, and when x= any random point b/w mean and maximum amplitude then assume v=v]
=>v²/2=w²(A²-x²)/2
=>v=w(A²-x²)½
=>dx/dt= w(A²-x²)½
=>dx/(A²-x²)½= w.dt
=> int dx/(A²-x²)½= int w.dt
=> sin-¹(x/A)= wt+c [c= integrating constant]
=> x/A= sin(wt+c)
=>x= Asin(wt+c)









Edit: I forgot to include the negative sign on the 5th line of the solution when integrating both sides.

Edit : Actually, e^iwt is a Euler's form of (coswt + i sin wt). Apply DMT.
