As an ST owner I can say there crap off the line but rolling they are quality

i just got one with 370 wheel hp and coming from a kia stinger its definetly not it when it comes to off the line but from a roll its a sense of speed ive never felt before. like ill do a 4th gear pull and go from 40 to 120 in a way ive never experienced before. its not push you back in your seat instant its a gradual build of boost that never seems to end.

that being said the st in this clip is probably near stock levels of power cuz even after 1st gear it doesnt pull very far.

Im looking forward to getting a diesel estate st in the coming months, i know state side you guys didnt get them but a remap gives them 220bhp and 400ftlb so more than enough as a daily i cant complain at the prospects considering my astra vxr is parked in the garage as a summer toy the petrol isnt essential for me at all

As a former owner of a 2016 focus st damn are they slow as hell i was modded and tuned but man is it a fun car to drive. Had it for 8yrs just recently sold it about 3 weeks ago to buy an explorer st hahahahaha current tuning in progress

Makes me miss my Mazdaspeed3, made 540wheel on an S5 WMI and E33%. I couldn’t launch that car at all from a dig it would spin through 3rd gear but that thing was an absolute roll monster. I miss break boosting on hellcats and gt500s used to hurt a lot of feelings in that boosted minivan 😂

If you can do it right, they can come off the line good but the short gearing means you need to get shorter shifts otherwise you lose a lot of time.

Idk if you pedal it right you can get a decent launch with good tires but rolling with the 5000 rpm 2 step much better tho
