Smoothies can be a great snack substitute with more nutrients and fiber. Low calorie doesn't always equal healthy, like fizzy drinks with no nutrients.

Calories here, calories there. We eat with our eyes too. If thinking something looks good and you want it - take it. You can always add but don’t restrict. Calories aren’t the thief when it comes to feeling satisfied and energized ❤

Low calorie =/= healthy. Those 0 calorie fizzy drinks are basically fizzy chemical water (they are 0 calorie for a reason). Those smoothies, on the other hand, are usually 2 of your 5 a day.

I don't think it's responsible to be recommending a drink filled with sweeteners which, in my experience, only make you addicted to sweet things and cause you to eat more sugar and are also terrible for your gut. Why not recommend water, as others have said?

That sandwich is 450 cals, the drink maybe 7 cals, and the yoghurt 150 cals total 607. Roughly definitely not 500.
A smoothie can be 150 cals and gives you more nutrients and fibre and will fill you up for longer. The smoothie is practically a snack substitute for later.

Love, you didn’t pick up a “salad”. You picked up half a kilo of pasta smothered in mayonnaise dressing. Nobody in a calorie deficit is honestly ever going to choose that, so why use such a bad example to make your point with? 😆🤷‍♂️

The spicy chicken pasta is like 360 calories 20g protein and packs a whopping 12g of fibre. FYI for anyone

Also the small packets of dried fruit make a great snack 1 portion 5 a day, 3g fibre and only around 50 - 80 calories

I used to think the soft drinks and smoothies were a healthier option compared to fizzy drinks. Now that I know how to read and understand the health labels It's scary how much sugar is in those drinks

I basically eat whatever I want and as long as I stay between 1700-2000 calories it's fine

Swapping nutritious food for 3 ultraprocessed items doesn't seem like a great idea unless you don't care about health or nutrition but just calories
